HDBC is a casual church committed to providing a place where individuals and families can worship God and fellowship with others. Founded over fifteen years ago, HDBC has been the choice for meaningful Bible study, worship, and fellowship for many. Situated in the semi-rural community of Phelan in the heart of the High Desert of southern California, HDBC serves Phelan, Pinion Hills, Oak Hills, Baldy Mesa, Wrightwood, Hesperia and Victorville.
High Desert Baptist Church is a fellowship which desires to change the world through the changed lives of its members. We have a three fold purpose that guides all that we do:
Evangelism
We endeavor to share the life-changing, life-enriching message of Jesus Christ. We believe that everyone can have a personal relationship with God through His Son, Jesus, and that the relationship is the key to happiness.
Expression
It is our desire to provide an environment in which everyone can worship God and express their love for Him as well as receive His love.
Edification
We believe the Christian life is an adventure that involves personal spiritual growth. We endeavor to equip those associated with our church with the mental and spiritual tools necessary for the abundant Christian life.
